For many years, our work focused on the user experience.
This mainly was due to the fact the documentation was largely for what we considered “users”.
Recently, we could measure and provide data to indicate the population of developers who were also users. In the past, development documentation could be as simple as a man page with switches. However, today, we have makers and tinkerers as well as developers using documentation for IoT projects or Linux based tutorials.
The developer experience is not only important but largely ignored.
We intend to focus on developer experience with our documentation both in theory, discussion and in practice.
Here, we will not guide you to do something in Mac or Windows when everything can be done using Linux. If you need such instructions, we can guide you as to where to find that information.
Developers are people too!
